Safer Schools (Benin)
Under the Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery (GFDRR) program of the World Bank, the Global Program for Safer Schools (GPSS) was launched in 2014 to support safe school facilities in Benin. The scope of the technical work not only included the "Rapid Visual Assessment" and "Diagnosis" of the Public Schools´ vulnerability to Natural Hazards but also a "Construction Design Guidelines" for Safer Schools and Built Back Better Strategies.
