Ottenbach Bridge (Switzerland) - Singular Structures

As part of a framework agreement for structural expert services, the Ottenbach Bridge scheme design alternative for bridge widdening was assessed.

The Ottenbach Bridge in Switzerland is a multi-span structure featuring a continuous post-tensioned concrete deck. The total length of the bridge is approximately 80m, with individual spans measuring around 24.5 + 31 + 24.5 meters each.

The deck, designed for vehicular and pedestrian traffic, has a width of 10.8m wide, ensuring adequate lane distribution and safety, and a propsal for bike lane is made to increase the deck width to 12.76m.
