Bridge Desing Competition "Kruunusillat Bridge" (Finland) - Singular Structures
Kreekrak Bridge Schelde-Rijnkanal (The Netherlands)
International design competition for a 2.5km Light Rail and Pedestrian/Bicycle Bridge between Helsinki and a future development in Kruunuvuorenranta has been lauched.
A scheme design was developed based on an innovative design approach based on “Infrastructure Sustainability” covering more
than a hundred parameters divided into Social, Economic, Environmental, and Natural Resources.
The bridge structure shows strong similarities to a Balanced Cantilever Structure but with interesting asymmetries. We have joined effort with UNStudio and FCG (Finish Consulting Group).
