50 RC Bridges And 1 Bayley's Bridge (DEM. REP. OF CONGO)
Acting as Structural Expert, by means of technical advice to both UNOPS team and local design teams in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
The scope of work included to i) improve / optimize the designs of the bridge structures and scuppers and ii) to respond to the comments of the independent Certifier (IC).
For the Bayley’s Bridge a proprietary design from Waagner has been used and substructure design has been developped by local design team and checked for compatibility under this contract.
All projects have been successfully approved by the IC,
concluding with satisfaction the role of Expert Engineer.
