This container terminal is a concession granted by the Port Authority of one of Spain's largest ports, which ranks among the top ports in Europe and is considered an international benchmark in container traffic. The terminal is a modern, semi-automated facility that operates according to the most demanding market standards and uses the latest technologies. The largest containerships currently in the global fleet berth at its quays.

Our role involved providing expert structural engineering services as an expert witness in a claim concerning construction deficiencies in the yard crane rail system. Key issues included improper rail alignment, anchoring, and support tolerances, which led to equipment instability, excessive wear, and operational inefficiencies. The assignment included site inspection, technical review of design and as-built documents, and evaluation of compliance with applicable port infrastructure standards (e.g., Eurocode 3, EN norms, and local guidelines).
