By using our website, visitors hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.
Definition of personal data
Personal data consists of all information related to an identified or identifiable person, which would include, for example, names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses, as an expression of a person’s identity.
Information we collect
This website is a static information site. It has no contact form, no user accounts, no advertising and no analytics. We collect and process personal information (including IP addresses) at two levels:
- Where a statutory legal basis allows or requires it, for example standard server log files (see below);
- Information you choose to send us. Should you contact us directly (for example at contact@singularstructures.com), we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.
Processing purposes and legal basis
Singular Structures uses the collected information:
- To provide, operate and maintain our website;
- To communicate with you and answer your enquiry;
- To find and prevent fraud.
The legal basis for the processing of your data is covered under:
- Data consent (Art. 6.1(a) of the GDPR);
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1(f) of the GDPR); or
- Existing contractual relationship (Art. 6.1(b) of the GDPR).
Service providers
Singular Structures involves external service providers with tasks such as web design services, data hosting services, structural design services, invoicing and payment handling. These service providers have been chosen carefully and are monitored on a regular basis, especially regarding their diligent handling and protection of the data that they store. All service providers are obliged to maintain confidentiality and to comply with the statutory provisions.
Log files
Singular Structures follows a standard procedure of using log files. These log files are generated when visitors access the website. All hosting companies do this and it is part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages and possibly the number of clicks. These log files are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable by us. While the exact information depends on the hosting company, we understand that the following is saved (example only):
- IP address of the terminal device used to access the website;
- Internet address of the website from which the website is accessed (referrer URL);
- Name of the service provider used to access the website;
- Name of the files or information accessed;
- Date and time as well as duration of the request;
- Amount of data transferred;
- Operating system and information on the internet browser used; and
- HTTP status code (for example “Request successful” or “File requested not found”).
Transfer to recipients outside the European Economic Area (EEA)
Singular Structures might transfer personal data to recipients located outside the EEA, in so-called third countries. In such cases, prior to the transfer, we ensure that the data recipient provides an appropriate level of data protection.
In such an event, you are entitled to receive an overview of third-country recipients and a copy of the specifically agreed provisions securing an appropriate level of data protection.

This website does not set cookies of its own and does not use web beacons or tracking scripts. You can in any case choose to disable cookies through your individual browser options.
All fonts, images and scripts on this website are served from the website itself, so your browser makes no requests to third-party services (such as Google Fonts) when you read these pages.
