Seohae Grand Bridge (Korea): Family Member of the Longest Bridges in Korea

As part of the development of the Ah-San Bay, the Seohae Grand Bridge begins in Taek City Kyung Ki Do and ends in Jin County, Choong Chung Nam Do. Seohae Grand Bridge is 990-meter-long cable stayed with a main span of 470 meters. The bridge is 32 meters wide and will carry six lanes of traffic. The towers are 182 meters high with a parallel strand cable system (144 cables spaced at 12 meters).

I was responsible for the seismic response spectrum analysis, pylon legs and deck transverse analysis, and stability analysis of the bridge. Responsible also for the design check of the composite deck and reinforced concrete pylon structures.
