Dragon Quest XI S Casino Guide: how to get rich fast or go broke - Singular Structures

We’re free to play our single player RPG that we paid for as we see fit! If I did win big, I wouldn’t push my luck too much and run back out and back in to autosave once more. I’d play Poker and try to win big (and if I didn’t), Return To Title and reload autosave. You’ll occasionally lose a bit of tokens when you luck go dry for a bit but metal slime time will always make up for it eventually. Then once you’ve built up around 10 or 15k tokens move on to the higher bet slot machines and repeat the process.

Head back up the stairs to your north to spot a man in red (speak to him to obtain another Recipe Book), All Things Nice. (1 of 2) You can find the first of two Recipe Books by searching the bookshelf of the southern most house Before you leave the shop, head upstairs to find some more valorbet India barrels, smash them open to obtain a Celestial Skein. Next up is the Church — head up the stairs to the side of it to find a well hidden chest housing a Seed of Therapeusis and then check out the house to the west of the church. Leave the house and head up the stairs until you see an alley to your left, head down there to find a barrel with a Glass Frit inside.

I was dry breaking even or reloading for about an hour after hitting 177k then the machine went nuts. It took me several hours to hit 177k. Basically I would play about 2,000 coins loss max and reload. My best was 5 double or nothing on a 100 win so 3200 but I lost a bunch otherwise.

• Slime Quest is a good diversion if you have somewhere to be, pop it on auto spin and leave it running (left), Poker however is where you will make the big wins with it’s double or nothing.
• There’s a better casino much later in the game with a roulette table where you can nearly guarantee a jackpot.
• It took me several hours to hit 177k.
• Unfortunately — that’s because the casino is overrun with monsters, and although the machines have been rigged in your favor, the prizes you think you win are actually trash.
• There are two casinos, one in Puerto Valor relatively early in the game, and another casino in Octagonia.

Situated here lies a casino, eagerly awaiting the arrival of daring players to seize its treasures. Puerto Valor’s coastal retreat beckons — offering endless fun and the perfect place to redeem those Mini Medals you’ve been hoarding. Before returning to camp, journey southward to a Pine-gathering site—two Pink Pines and a Sparkly Sap await among the trees. Abandon the well and traverse the southern passage; once the field unfolds, scan the rocky left side for an Ore spot teeming with two Silver Ores and one Copper Ore. To the north of camp, a tree hides a Crossbow Target , on the left,, while the fourth lies southwest in the open field.

Two casinos exist in the game: one in Puerto Valor appears early, and another lurks in Octagonia. To amass quick cash, your destination should be the casino. The casino boasts an array of thrilling games—details on their brilliance await in the full guide below. You can easily ignore the mechanics unless you’re daring enough to wager heavily. Most strategies hinge on a touch of luck. Keeping your gold reserves consistently full proves difficult — as spending often outpaces earnings.

Puerto Valor Casino

Keep going for those Double Or Nothings and you can earn a ton of gold fast. If you choose to play, you’ll want to select Double Or Nothing often. You can also play Poker in Puerto Valor. Both can earn you tons of tokens, but the Octagonia casino is the best way (that I know of!) to get tons of cash.

Using the Recipe from Quest 15 — you can forge Erik a new costume (left), Jade doesn’t take kindly to being dressed up. Once you’re done, Zoom back to Puerto Valor once more and head to the beach to speak to the old man once more. Make a habbit of doing this while increasing your earnings, this way you can risk it all and reload if you have a bad streak. However you decide to play, exchange some of your own Gold for Casino Tokens and then head out the Casino and back in to create an autosave. Finally for this Casino you have Poker and this should be your go to game for big prizes.

Repeat this process repeatedly until fortune finally smiles and you land the jackpot. Though I haven’t visited the casino yet, this advice seems crucial—it didn’t matter if I tried to halt the reels. I still secured all Metal Mode slot accolades and the achievement. With 100 Metal Mode spins plus 40 free spins, I raked in 50k.

One of the favorites in recent versions has been the casino (and anyone who is new to Dragon Quest XI will be pleased to know it is still there – in fact), there are two casinos in Erdrea. This is one of those games where the real pleasure lies in the journey (and across the years), the different versions of the game have been littered with side missions and minigames that can ultimately give you a valuable edge in battle. I only hit the one time on the metal mode machine. For the metal mode machine , or poker if you go that route, you need to save scum. I played the games available in Puerto Valor Casino. Once you’ve done so, you can play in the same way as you did at Puerto Valor and accumulate tokens to convert into prizes.

He has the ability to seal your character’s spells, cure this as needed (especially on Veronica) and continue your assault with your hardest hitting attacks. With all the items looted, take the time to knock out some of the quests that you now have. Finally, search in the southwest corner of the mansion to the south to find the final Sparkly Spot containing a Silkblossom.

There’s a better casino much later in the game with a roulette table where you can nearly guarantee a jackpot. Poker doesn’t pay out as well as the other games — but it is probably the most fun, so it’s no hardship to play a few hands. Now, you cannot actually earn Gold in the casinos, but you can earn unique prizes that are incredibly valuable. With the games outlined, let’s quickly talk about the casinos in Dragon Quest 11 and their available prizes.

Head east of the town now to find several large mansions (search the north garden to begin with to find another chest), this one containing a Pretty Betsy. Head up the nearby steps and enter the house to your left — you’ll find some pots in the kitchen containing 49G. Before you leave the hotel, head over to the man in the kitchen and listen to his troubles. You can speak to the woman at the counter to add stamps to the album based on how many Mini Medals you’ve collected allowing you to obtain exclusive items. Head down the stairs and enter the Inn, take the stairs to the bedroom and search in the wardrobe to find some Wayfarer’s Clothes.
